I try to put Portal gun in HL2 But its stills hard

I can extract GCF Files because i own orange box and it only uses gcf content and no folders

GMOD 11 Portal gun doesnt work

Is there any way to put it in hl2? i need help please.

I dont think just placing the weapon into HL2 will work. Don't you need all the scripting and the engine that actually creates the portals?

I remember a website explaining how to do it. Portal in Half-Life 2... I think there is a youtube video showing a demonstration that has a link in the description. You could try that.

You can't put the ASHPD in HL2 because its code is different. However, you can put HL2 in Portal. Extract all the maps and place them in the \portal\portal\maps\ folder, then launch the maps from the console.

I dont have portal folder i have portal content.gcf witch includes portal/maps but i cant put it

There is a special program to extract and copy the files. I looked up the Primotech website on Google and it can't find it (error 404 message when connecting to website).

I can extract portal content with GCF Scape but i dont know if will work......

Well i fixed it, I just created a map folder in steamapps\portal\portal\ i created a map folder and put hl2 maps well, anyways stil thanks
