In my map i have a diversity vent including some prop_statics with the models:

vactube_128_straight.mdl

vactube_90deg_01.mdl

vactube_connector.mdl.

When i place a portal underneath them and then look through the other portal, while i move the cursor, the models keep flicking from being there to not being there!

How do i make it stop flicking?

I think that's a rendering problem, like portal funneling is black with world portals, I think It has something to do with the dx level

I'm not sure about what an "opaque" skin is. Could you explain it? It's a word i have never heard before  (and i'm not english or american)

Opaque means that you can't see through it, (the opposite of a window.)
