I've never played any TES games before, but from the teasers and screenshots Skyrim looks pretty rad.

Still, Guild Wars 2 is currently my most anticipated upcoming fantasy game. :P ? DOTA 2, I don't even ...

I checked it out and thought Rayman Origins looked better. Sorry, but it isn't my kind of game.

Go for it, the difference is that you'll know what's going on now instead of waiting a few months. Instruction manuals don't cover a lot of the story though, so it wouldn't spoiler much of anything. However, you'll live in shame that you read a leaked instruction manual.
Either way you suffer; either waiting for a long time to play the 4th TES game, or live in shame that you read a leaked manual.

well i have been playing skyrim since the release, and today i started skyrim, it crashed and i looked at the disc, and it has a perfect half circle scratch that it did not have when i got it. i think the xbox broke it.

That sounds so crap. Bring the disk back for a replacement. Or buy it on steam there is no disk. Problem solved.

lol, Xboxes ftw not. Buy PS3 and live happier life(after PC).

or just play the game the way it SHOULD be played (ie: PC BABY!)

Yeah you have way more fun on PC with games like this. Bethesda has a problem with sensitivity on consoles. Even with it maxed out it still takes half a minute to turn around. I think Battlefield 3 and a few other games have proven to be a better expirence on the PC as well. The only exception I can see is racing/flying games play better on consoles.
