Does this irritate anyone? Another Community Site that is named the same as this site. Is anyone else aware of this? Get a load of Rule #6 on that site: "Showing off stuff that is not yours is okay, just make sure you credit the original" They even faked a copyright!

The site looks dead. The entire forum only seems to have a few members, and the off-topic section is completely composed of spam. By the looks of it, I doubt the creator of the site even knew that another TWP already existed. It doesn't really bother me much, but it may become an issue.

and the idea of "thinking" with "portals" isn't new... it's in the trailers, and game, of the first portal... Even Valve jacked sleeper by registering a ThinkWithPortals.com.... bastards.

Maybe I missed sarcasm in your original point but I meant to emphasize the fact that I really think it's the other way around if anything. I would have expected VALVe to register the domain name thinkingwithportals.com long before anyone else, and the fact that sleeper swooped in and nabbed it, I believe, constitutes what is formally and technically known as a jack.

i was being sincere. and thanks for your explanation... I would agree with you except for the fact that they did NOTHING to make a portal website or community until YEARS after sleeper already had this one rolling. now they have a "blog"

granted the "thinking" with "portals" idea wasn't new, in fact, it's from the game/trailers directly that sleeper got the idea... But valve didn't do anything with it. Sleeper did. which is why I claim they jacked him
