Aperture Files
Here is challenge 00:

Challenge 01:

I've made a new extension for the Aperture Science Vital Apparatus Vent, called the Cube Constrainer. When the Vital Apparatus vent is in a testchamber that doesn't have a floor below it,this device will hold the cube beneath the vent.

I'm out of ideas for future challenges again,so if anyone wants to give me ideas I will consider them as challenges in my map. Please let me know what you think.
If you want to upload your map to the database, one of the mods will move it to the release forum.
Can't wait to give the map a run through

heh,I won't be uploading the map for a while,it's going to have 19 challenges, only 00 and 01 are made yet.
Understandable that you would wait some, but please dont wait for all 19; some preliminary feedback on what you have already done (on the 1st 4 challenges, lets say) can greatly change the way you map the rest, and WHAT you map (ie the challenge may not be there). It would be unfortunate if you put in a lot of work, but it all fell apart because you didnt account for some player ability, etc. "You mean I really need portal_bumpers? My goo doesnt look good enough? My buttons can be opened with cameras? Now I've got to got to change all occurances in all 19 levels. . . . "
This seems like the best solution for wanting to keep it a surprise for the community, while not totally neglecting testing. No matter how much you test it yourself, you're bound to miss something, everybody thinks differently. I'd recommend having at least 3 people beta test the maps along with your own testing before you release all 19.
I do agree, 2 maps is barely worth releasing to anybody, even for beta testing. I'd say at least 4 would be needed, but no more than 6 at a time.
Anyway, just suggestions, take em or leave em. And at any rate, looking forward to any release at all!
PS: I'd be willing to beta-test. I've beta-tested for youme... I'm sure he'll vouch that I'm a pretty good tester

Looks pretty good, similar to logic portals... perhaps too similar?
move the light source to right where the particle effect is,it will look slightly better then

I never heard of or seen anyone else making something like this, and I never played Logic_Portals yet.I came up with this last night.
I can't belive what you're saying. My floater first prototype was done the 6 November and the final design in which your design is a near-copy was done 17 November.
