I'm feeling down, and I'm looking for some sad songs (yes, I'm lame).

What are some good ones that you know of?

I don't know about sad, but I do know that Streetlight Manifesto's new record "Somewhere in the Between" is fantastic from beginning to end.

8. Gary Jules - Mad World (the Tears For Fears cover)
9. Gary Numan - One Perfect Lie (yes, it's that Gary Numan)
10. Gary Numan - Ancients
11. Ghost In The Shell Soundtrack (the whole thing is pretty sad sounding)
12. Halou - Tubefed
13. Johnny Cash - Hurt (the Nine Inch Nails cover)
14. The Italian Job Soundtrack (2003) - Mourning John
15. King Crimson - Epitaph
16. Maria Bethania - O Que Tinha De Ser
17. Opeth - Hope Leaves
18. Portishead - Over [live] (just get the Roseland NYC album, it portishead with a live orchestra - pure win)
19. Portishead - Western Eyes
