I want to add a reference to the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy :notworthy: in my mp. But I am German, so I don't have the English original. If someone who has the book could just tell me the exact quote: I need an extract out of "life, universe and everything" from chapter 2, the part where Ford and Arthur find a sofa on the meadow. I need to know the exact words: Is it a velvet-covered sofa or a velvet-upholstered coach or something totally different?
Thank you for your effort.

There's a quote about the sofa, search for velvet and you should find it...

HTHs,

Rob.

Verified with the print version.

Quote:
Arthur looked. Much to his surprise, there was a velvet paisley-covered Chesterfield sofa in the field in front of them. He boggled intelligently at it. Shrewd questions sprang into his mind.

"Why," he said, "is there a sofa in that field?"

Also, you've earned my instant respect for doing anything H2G2-related in this forum.
