It's a worthwhile investment seeing as you could just use it to rob a bank and get your money back.

For me (Netherlands) it shows 135 euro's. It's expensive but look at it o_O. If I had the money for it I would totally buy it! Who doesn't want to have a portalgun replica?

I've thought about getting one but I want to wait until the second run in case they're super cheaply produced or something. Oh, and not being broke would help too.

By the way:
Does anyone know how the pre-ordering works?
I got a confirmation e-mail (well, my dad did) but does that mean I'm guaranteed to get one?

--EDIT--

Um, you do realize that VALVe licensed this product? I'm pretty sure they wouldn't give us a crappy "five minutes then oops it broke" LIMITED EDITION replica.

You obviously know nothing of "licensed products" or props in general.

PS - It's written "Valve".

Yes, I know. I just find it suitable to capitalize it like that because even though it isn't technically a lowercase E, it's smaller than the other letters.
Who wants to write the boring word "Valve" anyway?

People who think it's stupid to type the name of a company the way they have stylized their logo?

Yeah. That's their logo. It has a stylized font, but the name of the company is still "Valve" as in the word "valve" capitalized since it's a proper noun. It's the same stupidity of typing "Doom" as "DooM" just because that's how the logo looks.

It's dumb. You're dumb.

So is it dumb for "Glados" to be typed "GLaDOS" also? Or is this just relating to names in reality?

no; GLaDOS isn't stupid since it's an abbreviation for Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System. Usually capitals stay unless a term is used on a daily basis, as a normal word; for example laser and there are plenty more examples like this

Are you calling me dumb?
The way someone capitalizes a word does not classify them as "Dumb".
Just because you made these forums doesn't mean you have the right to say "oh, your capitalization is wrong; I classify you as dumb".
