I recently joined this web site, and I must say I love it. There's tons of custom maps to play which I enjoy very much. I figured I might as well join seeing I come here almost every day. This way I can comment on custom maps and throw in my 2 cents.

I understand there is slight restrictions on being a new member. I've noticed that when I view the topics of an uploaded map, the other user's names are not a link to their profile. If anywhere else on this site, I do find a link to a user's profile, it says I'm not allowed to view it. Now here's the kicker of it. If I log out, I can view a user's profile, or even before I joined I was able to do so. This seems kind of backwards. You would think it would be the other way around where non-members can not. If I clear board cookies, it logs me out. I tried clearing my web browser's cookies, but the same thing happens. I even looked at my profile settings, but couldn't find anything for this. Perhaps someone could shed some light on this. I could ask one of the admins, but I can't When I'm logged in, "The Team" does not show. If I'm logged out, it shows, and that shows me the admin list, which also shows "Contact" on their profile (in which I can't because I'm logged out).

So this is why I'm asking here because I can not contact an admin and ask them. Somewhat of a conundrum. Thaks in advance for any input.

It's strange that you cannot access the user profiles, you should be able to see so, I can look into that tomorrow. But you should be able to just see the profiles by clicking on the usernames!

The login is saved in a cookie, so as soon as you remove that cookie your login is also deleted It's a common method for websites

This just in. Guess what happens after posting this. Yup, it appears it has fixed itself. Now isn't that typical of your car making a constant squeaking noise, and when you bring it to the dealer, it stops. Perhaps a delayed reaction on the server or a slight glitch. But thanks Ipfreaky90 for the prompt response. Hopefully everything's okay now.

It could be possible while you have the lowest rank you might have those restrictions, with 3 posts you should be able to see it properly. It isn't really as intended I suppose, as said before, I'll look into it tomorrow again
