Glados isn't everywhere in the multiverseWhy don't they just wirelessly connect her?
Sorry, but Valve's planning to only use Cave, somehow, I don't know why they don't want to use ellen though.

Uh, GLaDOS wasn't built when Cave was still alive remember? In fact, she was made several years after Cave's death. And since the multiverse is just several parallel dimensions of Earth, GLaDOS would not be in those worlds either.
Since I've got limited internet traffic I want to ask two questions :
1. What is download size ?
2. Can I download it to one PC and then transfer it to my one (as I did with the game and authoring tools) ?

The puzzle creator will actually be part of the game, so if you were able to transfer the game in that way then yes, you will be able to.

1: I have no idea, my portal 2 folder is currently 15,2 gb and my portal 2 beta is 12,1 gb. Both include quite a few custom levels, so yea, but I think it's about 1gb. But I really don't know.
2: If it works for the game it should also work for mapmaker, because once again, it's an integrated part of the game!

Please let me know as soon as you cheated/hacked a sendificator into the editor please?

Let's get some questions out of the way:
- Glass/Grate
Do you mean that the glass panel can be changed into one of the grates that portals can pass through but solid objects can't? That'd be great, I have a few puzzle ideas involving those already...

Didn't I offer you a beta invite back in january?
With the moving panels, can you use a button or something to tell it to move a certain number of degrees? Or does it just stay put at the position you appointed it in the editor?

30 45 60 90 angles.
specify it and it can only go to one angle and one only, so you cant make the button make it 90 and another 60.

Hopefully this will be my last question for all you beta testers. Does Valve plan on adding the crushers (a.k.a "mashy spike plates") to the editor? Because those are a real pain to set up. I know they are not in there at all at the moment, I was just hoping valve was considering adding them to the mix of elements.
No, sorry, they need invisible triggers to activate, which is not placeable.

Oh I see, thanks for the response anyway.
EDIT: Just one more day now!

It would be awesome if you could work on a map with your friend(s).
Not at the same time. You could always share the raw puzzle file though.

You asked for my email address at one point. I haven't heard from anyone since. Did I miss an email?
(When the Steam forum thread opened I forgot to sign up on account of being too preoccupied with other stuff.)
It's no big deal though, I can wait one more day ![]()
