I found out a while ago that apparently i have to upload my maps under new names every single time when i have a newer version of a map so it doesn't conflict with the previous files already uploaded. Why don't you just delete the old useless ones in the process of uploading? I have had to fix my map so many times after finding bugs that i dont even know what to upload the name as anymore.

Speaking of which, can you remove the thread for Target Practice under wip and coop? I would like to refresh my progress. @_@

Because the download system is a dinosaur and it's quite hard to change even the tiniest thing. We're currently working on a system that should work better.

As for the maps I'll delete 'em

ps: this would be better off in off-topic

Most people append a version number to the end of their file name e.g., 1.0, 1.1, etc. It's a good idea to keep track of released versions but this is kind of a separate issue entirely. There is an option to remove all previous uploads when you upload a new version, but I don't think it works. If you don't want to worry about the file name at all, then upload it to the workshop and use the external url option here.

I thought off topic wasn't portal related. 0_o >.>

I never bothered to figure out how to get custom hammer maps onto the workshop. can coop maps be placed there? I only noticed single player

You can use "portal 2\bin\p2map_publish.exe" to upload bsps to the workshop. Right now it only accepts single player maps.

They will be adding Coop to the Workshop at some indeterminate point in the future.
