Look, I can't promise cake, and I already ate all the cookies, but I would be extremely grateful to get any specific feedback on this map. I've played and debugged it so much now that it's hard to tell what works and what doesn't, what fits and what doesn't, what's delightful vs frustrating vs outright stupid. Plus, I'm a complete rookie when it comes to Portal maps. Doubleplus, as you know, much as the eraser is to an artist, playtesters are the main tool in a designer's arsenal. Not to say that you're tools per se, but I did find two previous specimens on record who shared your last name - a Mr. and Mrs. Hammer. Dear me.
A series of puzzles based on working your way up to the exit vertically. They all have the uniqueness of glass floors between levels as their signature to this series. Coversion gel, tractor beams, and lasers are some of the themes to each puzzle in navigating up to the exit. There will be more themes to follow.
Thanks. I hope you'll enjoy.
Have fun with my newest test chamber!

Don't leave your Companion Cube alone ... or it will try to kill you!
This test has a weird solution at the end. Hope you'll have fun!

It's not quite finished yet, what design is concerned on, it will get updated.

Edit: Now with fewer unintended shortcuts!
This is my very first map, but I did have several people play test it so hopefully its fun and not too difficult.
I called it "Can you give me a boost?" and once you start playing it I think you'll realize why. Your companion cube loves you - please don't leave him behind!
have fun (but please check out the logics and wiring using noclip, i spent so much time on it :p)
I just released my first ever Portal 2 map on the Workshop. It was made waaaaaaay back when the Alien Swarm SDK was till being used. It took quite a bit of editing to get it to function properly though. All in all I'm glad I was finally able to post this map on the Workshop.
Please, have fun with it.
"Where It All Began"
Hello, my name is Lanopo, just dropping by to tell you guys that my Portal 2 overhaul is testing on steam workshop, here is the link to the workshop page:

Tell me what you guys think!
So, I made these two maps, and from friends I've invited to play, I've gotten pretty good feedback, but only a few people have played them. Please also read the descriptions in the linked pages.
Speedrunner's test
This test is intended to isolate techniques often used in speedrunning. These skills are often used to cheat the intended solution or possibly execute it faster, thereby achieving faster times. Many of the rooms may appear impossible, but I assure you that, with determination, as well as thinking both outside the box and with portals, this map is quite possible.

Headrush
Headrush is a puzzle I came up with a while ago and built as a map in the decayed style in Hammer, but the design was giving me some slight issues. Then the DLC arrived! This was the first map I built in the DLC, and I think it turned out well. The key to the test is to be careful which mouse button you click, as well as being fast about it all.

Enjoy! Please comment on their pages and tell me what you thought!
I built a map with a morality system. Which, as far as I know, has never been done before. Hope you have fun. I promise more nuance than Mass Effect 3.

Quote:
Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you the first and only portal two map with a built in morality system. Three little tests designed to test your moral fiber. In the first, you stumble upon a classroom full of helpless mentally challenged turrets. In the next test, it would appear as though some parellel universe moron has put the panel at the wrong angle. And look there is a portable surface on the other side. Do you attempt the puzzle or take the lazy way out and "cheat?" The third test is actually pretty easy. Unless you should happen to want to turn back to save your faithful companion cube and return him to his rightful place. In which case, lasers are annoying. Then pop on down the scary hole to see what this map thinks of you.
Hint #1: As in life, being as asshole is always easier.
Hint #2: The lasers on the walls aren't important to the tests. They help run the morality system. Kept them visible in case anyone was curious.
A Deadly Island
Make your way across the sea, stop at the island for all the sights to see! Don't touch the red light, for it will make you die...what a fright!
