My phone ringtone is Robotnik's theme from Sonic 2. It's such a classic. The cartoons from the early 90's were really weird, though.

Well, Sonic SATAM wasn't too bad. I recall one of the Sonic cartoons having "trying too hard" humor in it. But my favorite animation for Sonic was probably the cut-scenes in Sonic CD, but the music sucked.

I only vaguely remember the sonic cartoons. When thinking of other weird 90s shows though, Earthworm Jim comes to mind (I fucking love Doug TenNapel).

Oh well, I would recommend to watch the best of all Sonic cartoons, "Sonic the Hedgehog" (called SatAM by fans):
