Metal Sonic is more bad ass, but his sprite isn't as bad ass as Mecha Sonics in Sonic 3.

How can you say that. Metal Sonic is basically just a speed bump. Mecha Sonic is both an awesome boss fight, and a really awesome final boss fight. And yeah I was talking about character design, the one from Sonic 2 looks stubby and his animation are boring as fuck.

Metal Sonic did look pretty good in Sonic Heroes.

He also had some pretty decent boss fights in Sonic 4 Ep 2 also.

I just noticed that video you posted. I never liked the Sonic CD style of Mecha Sonic. And that fight looks pretty boring tbh, they give you way too many rings for it to be a challenge.
