(sry for opening a Thread again),
I have this lightbug when i place an squarebeam before that Wall (Solid Face)
What am i doing wrong? :/

Try to compile your map in Expert mode, and select "Final compilation (slow!)" or something like that

Disable shadows on the grid prop or compile with -staticproppolys line for vrad,or do as stated above.

Does that texture have _vertex in it's name by any chance?
If so; replace it by his not-vertex version.

i have the same texture like in "sp_a2_pull_the_rug", who is behind a panel this texture and this squarebeam. I use the same :/

Then its a problem with your compile.


-both -StaticPropLighting -StaticPropPolys -TextureShadows -game $gamedir $path\$file

Ok i turned on "final -both (slow!)" and it works! 
(Maybe it also doesnt work because i turned on "fast" at Rad settings?)

Sry xD I didnt know what "fast" also affect the models,
But, why are all grate textures invisible when i turn final on?

Eh grate textures are fkd up. Try making it a func_detail or func_brush and muck around with the settings until it works.
Try this:
-both -StaticPropLighting -StaticPropPolys -TextureShadows -game $gamedir $path\$file
Chicken sent me this when I first started mapping and I havent touched it since cause everything seems to work with it.

The grates are func_brush, hmm ok maybe it helps when they?re func_detail..
At the picture the squarebeam also doesnt work correctly or not?

If you have tried StaticPropLighting and it still doesnt work you might have to send the vmf...
