We highly encourage you to find players through our steam group or via IRC, this is usually the best way. You can also post in the dedicated thread.

Hey Patches. As far as I remember, it's so easy to play a coop game using the random system, I mean that one that you can select when you hit the coop mode button in the game menu. I made lots of friends in the beginning after purchasing Portal2 and finishing the single campaign. Many of them are still my friends on steam and sometimes I still play some custom map with them...
