I think it's great except that the tilted glass has no support.

I LOVE the env_projectedtexture through the cracked glass. Mind if I steal that idea?

It's from the tree branches. The glass is not cracked.
EDIT: noticed the broken glass photo.

Its been done before. I know that I did it in my most recent map twice. But I agree that the shadows it creates are amazing.

No, its not from the tree branches (I don't even have tree branches in the map). The shadows are from the broken glass of the observation room. The glass in front of the observation room and the titled glass is not cracked as seen from the first photo. The shadows only appear when viewed from the back, not the front :sad:

This is a hammer version of a PTI map I made a while ago. It's named "Gel is not always helpful" because the repulsion gel is a detriment as well as a useful tool.

It looks like you're working with Glitch Gel 5. Please don't unless you really know what you're doing, it's not very stable and generally doesn't give nice results.

No, it's the default texture for some people. He probably just opened hammer.

I know, but it you have a custom texture saved as /paintblob.vmt that probably means you're working with Glitch Gel 5. That's the texture it uses for its blobs.

I've searched my files and didn't find any custom texture saved as paintblob.vmt and I've never used this texture at all, so I don't think this will affect my work. But thanks for the advice! :thumbup:

It might just be from another mod being installed, then. I don't know which ones (if any) use that gel, but it's pretty dangerous.

By the way, are you including the Shadows of Time in that map? I see you have my Darker Matter sign on the wall. If you want to it's perfectly fine, just give credit on the DL page. The instances are in the FGEMOD or BEE2.

No (although I have plans of making a SOT map, but I'll work on it on the future, when school is over) I've just used the decal actually, with an arrow pointing to a door next to it, like an entrace. This area works like a access to different Aperture areas, but the test is normal.

Speaking of SOT, I've played it and congratulations! You did an excellent work, the sky really got me, it looks awesome! Same for the tests!

For me it's the default texture. For him it also may be, so it doesn't have anything to do with using it.
