Don't be hatin'. It's actually a good show, once you get past all the girly-twirly magical friendship stuff.

I don't mind what people watch, and I'm sure it could have it's merits; it's just when someone watches it JUST so that they can feel special as part of a meme, that's what annoys me.

I prefer ThunderCats myself.

In defense of satchmo's off-topicness, this is on the General Off Topic Discussion board. So as long as we keep it limited to this board, being off-topic isn't a big deal.
At any rate, thank you for posting this. I've always sort of looked up to doctors; they're very hard-working people.

They're making a remake, btw. Looks pretty cool, even though I'm not a huge fan of anime.

Animes aren't really my thing but I really enjoyed FMA. Because it was so weird just had to watch it all the way through.
Never seen Thundercats either. Is it good?
P.S. My Little Pony is actually really funny. Only seen season 1 though.

Guys, just because it's an off-topic board doesn't mean you're supposed to derail threads.

To get back on topic, I'll re-ask my question: Does Schizophrenia affect people differently?

It should shouldn't it? Some people are more prone to creating large delusional fantasies involving themselves and others, some become violent and paranoid, that sort of thing. Like a lot of mental conditions it has different effects on different people.
Although the Doctor would probably know more than me.

There are different types of schizophrenia--paranoid type, disorganized type, and undifferentiated type.
So yes, it does manifest itself differently in different individuals.

Although Campylobacter, Salmonella type D, and C difficile may cause acute gastroenteritis with hematochezia, they are not associated with HUS. Campylobacter are the most common cause of acute bacterial gastroenteritis in the developed world, and nearly 50% of all Salmonella infections in the United States are caused by Salmonella serotypes B, D, and Newport. C difficile is a common cause of antibiotic-associated enterocolitis, and the organism has been linked to exacerbations of inflammatory bowel disease. Although S dysenteriae (type 1) has been associated with HUS, the incidence of this disorder is far greater following infection with either E coli O157:H7 or another STEC species.
