(Hope, I'm allowed to start this thread. If not, please delete it!)

The German "Portal-Magazin" has been released. It's an inofficial fanzine about Portal and Portal 2, that can be read online at http://www.portal-mag.de

Of course, all articles are written in German language.

The first issue of this fanzine contains various Portal-based articles, such as:

  • Fanfiction "The Badge is a Lie" (Portal / Pok?mon Crossover)
  • Achievement Guide
  • Hammer Editor Tutorial
  • Test of a great Custom Map
  • Special about Portal easter eggs in other games
  • Atlas and P-Body

... and many more! ^^

For all of you, who understand German language: We hope, you'll enjoy this fanzine!

The next issues will be released monthly.

I'm pretty sure Caret was making a personal opinion statement as opposed to being surprised at the language.

I hope you don't mind if I answer him in German.

Of course you may answer in German. I'll also do this.

Danke f?r's Lob!

I'm a little disappointed that you didn't mention EDGE in the "Portal ist ?berall" section. In my opinion EDGE got some very great secret "glados levels" when you finished the game.
On the other hand you mentioned Portal in L4D2, that one is new to me. Gotta check it out later

Also if you'd have written it in English you may have more readers now Anyways, I'll be waiting for the next issue to see how your series is gonna continue. For a first issue it wasn't bad.

Loosely translated:
Cool thing, I will track and read the full magazine at the next opportunity. The Hammer Tutorial could be useful for me. As a beginner it's much more easy to learn something when it's written in your first language. Great to see that there are other german users here. Sometimes it's hard to find other true Portal Fans who are really into the level design and the franchise iself. :)

It's obvious when people use translators, which in a lot of ways is more annoying. Just learn the language if you're going to insist on using it, tbh.

I'm so sorry really. I was hoping my english weren't too bad. I don't really post much here anyways because I don't want to spam this forum with broken english.

Oh, is it the rare chance that the Jukebox in L4D2 will play "Still Alive" or is it something else?
