** Back On topic, and hopefully we'll stay on topic from now on as well:** I'm not a big fan of Apple, but the death of Steve Jobs was very unexpected and shocked me. My sincere apologies for his friends and families.
Also, It may be interesting to note, that Steve and Bill Gates where actually good friends I believe.

He's going to be/has been buried, not cremated. His funeral was held today, but it was a small, private function for his close family.
Thanks you VERY much for this. Appreciate it.
thomars.dm should not of said anything in the first place, I still respect thomars.dm views, but still ruined the meaning of this post.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs was a great man he succeeded in creating a great business and developed some great stuff. He especially helped in the field of touch screen technology.
May he rest in peace.

And with that I now lock and sum up the thread: Steve Jobs has passed away; he was brilliant if not somewhat idiosyncratic, and regardless of his personality he has left a huge impact on technology.
