I'ts using a newer model format that Portal 2 currently doesn't support, the the models can still be decompiled and recompiled into an older format.

i'm really looking forward to this. i played lots of custommaps from this site (most where between "good" and "OMG i cant believe how awesome this is". And while i enjoyed using mapeditors in other games (especially trackmania) a lot, i gave up frustrated (twice) when i tried to use hammer for portal2 maps.

So excited and cant wait this thing gets released (while i do understand closed beta is important needs time, no intention to start any commentwars on that). dont wanna bore you with further details. </ >

In short, anything you can add is an instance. There is an observation room instance, and a light panel instance. They don't have any parameters.

Wasn't this video already shown and removed from a thread because Valve didn't want anyone to see it yet? It's probably best to keep the video down and off the internet for awhile.

they didn't approve it, they just don't have time to chase down all the reuploads of this video.
They have a deadline, and I don't think there will be Valve time.

That looks really, really good. My only complaint is that it seems like you can't use elevators? It would be nice to be able to use the destroyed and old Aperture themes too, hopefully they'll add that at some point, but I'm so pumped for this! xD

Elevators are added automatically!

You cannot choose theme, it's all modern in the multiverse!
