Yeah, I have the same problem. I think the [ youtube ] tag works fine, as opposed to the [ yt ] tag:>

Working on it right now.
Edit: seems to be a difference based on javascript implementation. The embed isn't reloading it's src after the javascript replaces it...still working on it.

Just so you know, turning my adblocker off doesn't make any difference. Shouldn't this be broken out into the site discussion thread?

I don't see how people think Dumbstep is music.

Dubstep can only explain a very small range of emotions. It qualifies, but it is inferior.
There is very little harmony to be found in the vast majority of dubstep I am familiar with. It exists, but it is inferior.
My conclusion: Dubstep is valid music, but I feel it is too limited to warrant the explosion in popularity as some kind of better music.

The appeal of dubstep is that it has unparallelled energy and sinister overtones. It's dance music, it's meant to make you dance, and it does that incredibly well. There are artists who do give dubstep incredible depth, like Blackmill and Mt. Eden (to an extent). Search both of those and then say you haven't seen harmony in dubstep.

EDIT:
Also, because I have credibility:

Am I the only only one who often listens to VGST's?

I listen to video game music a lot, but its sort of a limited perspective when you consider all the music out there.

True, but I often like pieces, not songs. Only a select few songs do I like, and even less outside the VGST category.

Non-video-game-music != a song. Just because its not in a video game doesn't mean there are people singing. Only a small percentage of stuff I listen to has the human voice in it anywhere at all.

Agreed. A lot of my itunes library is stuff I found on bandcamp just browsing randomly. Most of it's in the house/dubstep genre, though there's also significant amounts of chiptunes and ambient/techno.

On the other hand, I got the Indie Game Music Bundle which had about 300 assorted VGSTs, so that's another significant portion of my library

I know that, I just didn't say it lol. Actually I implied I did, because I said songs for both VGST and non-VGST, which means I considered it for both categories, and by logic I must do the same with pieces.

Your [strike:1iefb5qp]nagging about how I call pieces songs[/strike:1iefb5qp] music wisdom has not been ignored, you know.

Speaking of VGST's, I just bought the latest Humble Bundle. I love how they include the game soundtracks with the games
