Other people either agree or are wrong.
I don't like piracy period. Some of my artwork had been stolen before, which make me dislike any form of piracy, even if it is digital.
I dont play many games unless I see them on G4 channel. My usual games are steam games, black ops, and Halo Reach.
Why doesn't Valve do what the creator of Garry's Mod did: Create an error to prevent the game from running if it is pirated. I remember reading about that and all of the pirater's we're pissed off.
Because piracy is a cat and mouse game. If the target is of sufficiently high value, they will find a way around any anti-piracy measure. I would be really surprised if the pirates didn't work through the Gary's Mod anti-piracy.
Garry's Mod is fun. There is no REAL goal in the game. But you can make some interesting stuff. I made the picture under my alias with the Metro-Cop and the G-man using Garry's Mod.

Multiplayer is available in Garry's Mod. I think there is more info on the garrysmod.com site. Not .org though, that's just add ons people make.
