Only a minor change in the beginning to solve 1.5. Can re-use the same cube stack from my 1.4 solution. Sending Xtreger a demo...

Yeah I'm also able to access the #1 corridor (and presumably solve) using variations of previous solutions. Still trying to figure out what this hint might mean. It's a bit like saying "lasers activate catchers"... that they do.

Demo of my 1.5 solution (in two parts). Xtreger said its unintended again, so who really cares No more youtube vids until I get the goddamn intended solution.

Note that I use my zoom to indicate the fizzler #22 bug again. Also note that I'm only fizzling the staircase cubes for spite. Enjoy my spastic attempts to get to the exit...

The hint makes sense, but doesn't help me because I always knew that part... The easy part, to get though the short corridor.

I imagine the feat to get through the long corridor must be nothing short of something very spectacular though. In an earlier version a very beautiful and awesome trick was required but it has since been removed and presumably replaced by an even nastier version. It's too bad with all the unintended solutions though. Waiting for a version where only the intended solution work.

Damn. When you said the previous solutions were completely unintended you meant it...

It's a good update! Although I can use previous tricks to get two cubes on the #1 button and the other one pointing at #16 catcher, I can't immediately progress as per my previous solutions because the portable wall has been removed opposite #15 catcher. I'm officially stuck.

grayarea, if you're stuck, I'd advise you to try a completely different route. For example you could try changing your focus to a different corridor. It could be that your current focus is meant as an intermediate step rather than a beginning one.

Is there some new mechanic you've found that we should be looking for?

@HeadShot: Yes, but I don't know whether it's been used before. Even in that case I'd say it's very uncommon...

@Marc: I won't release the solution video yet. Will send demo to Paul after a few days, but until then, here's a

big hint
||1. When getting past fizzler no. 22 for the first time, both the corresponding laser catchers can be activated. That's why one of them is a floor catcher rather than a wall catcher. (But one of them has cool-down behavior, since later it is necessary to open fizzler 22, but this time you can't do simultaneous activation)

  1. Then there's getting through corridor no. 1; it requires a certain setup. For that setup you don't need to preserve your portals from any previous step. And one cube needs to be in the laser room...

I'll state one of the conclusions right now since everyone will anyway figure it out: Since there need to be no portals at all for the setup required to get through corridor no. 1, the only way to redirect a laser into catcher 11 is through a cube placed in front of it, not through a portal placed on the wall opposite.||

So you must have a cube rolling into a floor portal. That's it, isn't it?

@jonatan: That's correct. So you see that in essence, it's a modified version of the intended trick used in a previous version that you play-tested. Because you had come up with a much simplified alternative, I had to change that trick to the current, harder version.

I was moments away from quitting but I saw the hints and it made me think I wasn't so far away after all. I'm still working on an intended solution and have made some progress, but if I was to ignore all the hints and solve it however the hell I please, it would look something like this:

Great method for getting the lone cube to dot3, greyarea! Would have worked with my previous solution too, can't believe I didn't think of it!

Cheers. According to Mr X, that bit is more-or-less intended but there is a slightly trickier version he had in mind that I'll show if I end up going for the fully intended solution.

@grayarea : I should apologize; from your text description the part involving getting a cube to dot3 seemed to be along the intended track. But from the video it is unintended (aside from the fact that it's a perfectly good alternative); I'm afraid I must block it since it simplifies some later parts.
