This is now a Jontron thread.

Did I link that known spammer database on here?
Yes, and we're using it. Evidently the spambots are one step ahead...

That's right, folks, Friday Game Night. Saturday chat has been leaking for a while into Sundays and Fridays are no exception. Probably TF2, but I like other games too and I'm usually the one who hosts. Show up and we'll see how it goes.
I like the idea.
(I didn't see you online when I was inviting people). Maybe I'll make a thread/poll and get times people are available so more people can make it.

I'm sorry van.
I've had people over at my house for quite some time now. Really cutting into my gaming time. No TF2, Minecraft, Pootral or Pootral Teu, nothing.

Well, not really. I have a bunch of useless buttons and an openGL viewport which renders a cube with the faces in the wrong order. But considering I knew zilch about 3D rendering this morning, it's a start!
Spent most of today creating an infrastructure for easily making new brushes. It doesn't look like much of an improvement, and indeed it still renders inside out from certain angles, but now it's a lot easier to fix and play around with.

Does it carve yet?
Not yet, but I'll make sure the carve feature is fully implemented by release
It will also created 5 million additional solids each time you carve, as an improvement to the original hammer feature.

Out of programming-curiosity, what does it actually do?
Render code-determined solids? I assume all buttons are fake
The buttons are all funnctionless at the moment. Brushes are hardcoded at the moment, but the next step will be working 2D views where you can construct new ones.
also i don't use tissues for that kind of stuff so shut up

Oh please... don't bother

Are you just duplicating (all/part of) Hammer, or will you be adding and fixing other things?
Short (as if) term goal is to get all of hammer's current funtionality in. After (if) I do that, then I'll start looking at adding new things. I kind of want to revamp the UI to look more like SFM, as well as reorganize some things to make more sense. But it's easier to work off of an existing thing to start with, so that won't come for a while.
