Very nice, but it's all very dark; include some more light sources (there's an old Aperture equivalent of the glass lights in the instances folder). Also, the structures of the left of the second picture are just floating in mid-air, which looks a little strange. You've got the architecture perfect, though.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll put in some more light sources. Screenshots appear much darker than the game for me though(both Fraps and Steam), already increased the brightness a bit with photoshop before uploading them. Will also make sure the buildings look less floaty before releasing.

underground_fizzler (or fizzler_underground) to be more specific.

Dinnesch used the right one, though underground fizzlers use 3 brushes grouped together.

There is underground fizzler texture what needs only one brush to work

Here's a picture of the 1st test chamber of my 2nd map - Dedication.

I think this room is pretty much done. So I'm about to start working on the 2nd chamber. Still not sure whether this will be a 2 or 3 chamber map.

Thoughts?

I'd replace the floor texture with an actual floor texture, you're using a wall one I think.

Yes, he is using wall texture, and I see a Easter Egg already. Take a look at the observation room.

Yeah like you said, I am using a wall texture. Is that bad? I think it looks OK.

As for the Easter Egg. There isn't one actually. For the observation room I merely edited the instance file and added a poster, that's all!

ditto for the ceiling. Otherwise it looks pretty good.

Thanks for the comments. I have now changed the ceiling and floors to proper ceiling/floor textures intead of all wall textures.

No point taking a new picture, I'll post again when the 2nd chamber is near completion.

I have a room where the Turret Testing Dummies stalk you, but no screaming robots. It's also has one of each testing element (Laser, Hard Light, Faith Plate, gel, etc).
