Are those ported HL2 models I see?
ye, the fence and the trees are from HL2, the rest are just portal2 models and brushes plus some custom blend texture.

That looks... really good! This actually looks like a chamber build within the structure of the cave, instead of a cave build around a chamber.
Agreed, very very cool man =D
my mod iris is actually inspired by your mapping in this, btw. hope you dont mind me kindof using a variation of your style.

Show screenshots as soon you have something, the ones ad moddb are cool, I'm curious what you doin'. Its cool to have outdoor maps for a change, I like the colors, the sky, and the kind of lighting (not point or spot based) that only the sun can give. And I had enough white and black and waters that kill me...

your style is the specific type of buildings and structures used alongside nature, and how it's built alongside nature. the textures i use are pretty much the same ones you use, and (assuming you've seen the moddb screenshots) the building structure itself. although i havent yet, i plan on making some of the floor in some areas more natural, like grass and stone etc. i also try to take some inspiration from LOST's dharma initiative, with the facility being in decay and outdated but still having state-of-the-art technology scattered around it.

Wow! The destruction against the BTS is really nice. A bit of overgrowth may make it look cool. Nice job! ![]()

Looks really good! I've never seen the destruction theme seem cold before, but you've pulled it off very nicely. I noticed that you don't have any vegetation, but it makes sense with the cold setting.
Here's a couple of pictures, but they only reveal a fraction of what is to be discovered!

looks very good. Definitely a map I'd take time to explore before solving the test.

Is the inquisition field the yellow one?
Yeah.
It's the one that fizzles objects but not portals.

I know this is a showcase thread, and not an advertising one. In light of this, I'd like to showcase a map pack that I just happened to have released right now, called "The Inquisition".Here's a couple of pictures, but they only reveal a fraction of what is to be discovered!
-PICS-

It doesn't let portals go through though.
