Thanks!
That camera at the top of the long vertical chute (beginning of the second chamber) will get you stuck if you back into it. They don't list that among the hazards on the Wiki.
yeah about the black gel, it's a issue I'm trying to deal with. I don't understand why it's doing that, I've tried moving lights around it, adding cubemaps but to no avail. If anyone has the solution I'd be happy to hear it.
Good map but can't seem to get through the fizzler to the last door - excursion tunnel or faith plate fling...thanks for mapping.
I gotta say that the last part took quite a while for me to figure out.
I got the laser redirected easily enough, then decided I needed to go back for the funnel, okay... after trying to just ride the funnel through the emancipation grid that blocks the exit(and failing), I decided I needed to use the aerial plate, "but how do I get to it and set up the fling?" I figured out one way by placing the funnel at the bottom of the wall at one end of the room then used the white goo to raise the funnel a bit at the opposite end of the room and just raised it back and forth till I had white goo up to the ceiling on both ends of the room, and it was close enough to jump to from the laser-redirection platform. Then I could pretty easily set up the fling using other white goo spots on the walls.
That was a lot of work so I went back to my pre-fling save and did it a much quicker and riskier way which I imagine is the intended solution. I died a couple times before getting it right. So this time, after pointing the laser at the left laser receptacle, I extended the funnel from next to the cube(the spot where it would put me close to dropping on the aerial plate) and when I got close I shot a portal across from the exit and then one on the wall where the plate would shoot me and that fling got me to the exit.
Nice job making a puzzle that was hard to solve, but not impossible. If that second way is the intended fling then I wish it were a little easier to do, because even though I knew it was possible I still died the first few times I tried it. I had fun playing this map. Thanks!
Good map! at first I was lost didn't know what to do then I had an epiphany all you have to do is be fast I think this is the way you intended to be, nice finish
Cmon!!! I can't even go to the exit, the panel closed too fast, I have no idea how to solve this

I recorded this solution for a friend, maybe someone else could use it too. Extract mongoose.dem to Portal2\Portal2 (the folder full of VPK files), then in the console type: "playdemo mongoose".

This was a good effort at making an interesting puzzle, but it's spoiled by the unlimited quantity of conversion gel. It allows one to create many different solutions.
Until I figured out a quick solution for getting to the exit, I was getting tired of being slathered in gel while riding the funnel.
The quick solution for me was to paint floor and ceiling by the cube, then auto-accelerate and fire the portal for the exit. Much easier than the fling to the faith plate that I think you intended.
In my opinion, the puzzle would have been just as good without the gel at all, just putting portal material where needed, and using the final laser to open panels opposite the exit, too.
Almost there, but not quite. Just 3/5 from me.
Not a bad attempt, i get bored at the last room though having to keep redirecting the funnel with nothing but gel covering my screen so i couldn't see what i was doing so i quit lol.
