I found that last part unnecessarily frustrating - trying to build the block tower on top of the button was really fidgety.
Fundamentally valid puzzle affected by crude texturing, which gives all an unpolished feel. I did not use the cubes to kill the turrets, just picked them up one by one - but your idea was valid, possibly you could force it with grids in front of them.
I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:

2011-11-23_00001 (800x450).jpgThis is how I stacked the cubes. I put the companion in front of the blue, then put the reflector on it through the floor by the button. This map was a bit more work than fun, but it took a while to figure out how to do some things, which kept it from being boring.
The lightbridge goes through the door in the observation room. I don't know why, and it certainly doesn't matter.
The look was clean, but there were out-of-place textures, like the white texture at the edge of the water.
Overall, a good looking map, with a decent puzzle, but not much fun. 3/5 from me.
