Map with a refined mise en scene: overload structures with strong lightning, adventurous intro and moody story segments all work for high impact. Meaning you get captured early on, and suggestion does the trick.

All top notch, but still demo lenght: the one puzzle included isn't exactly brain melting, yet well integrated with the enviroment - you aren't doing no crosswords, that's the way you break the room and out.

Here's a bug: the cube dispensers do not recycle the previous release. So you get unlimited, breaking even that one puzzle.

Yeah, I caught that myself but had zero time to fix the problem before the deadline.

Thanks for the review!

with unlimited cubes I dropped them over the light bridge on the turrets, fun but didn't seem to have any relevance to this map? Maybe it will be obvious when we see your larger project including this map.
Everything worked and you used standard P2 elements, but some seemed irrlevant.?

(Note: this is a copy and paste of my running notes as I judged the map. I'm posting them here to give you more feedback than silence, but I'm not going to write a thesis about this. Here's are my thoughts, take 'em or leave 'em.)

Whoa. Cinematic intro. Gratuitous?
(lol @ technically starting with an elevator)
Kinda dark
Very visually cluttered. Don't know where to start
Can see orange glow (void?) up in the gel dropper
Gratuitous turrets? Yep. Complete with gratuitous faith plates. Not even faith plates. Panels.
Also, gratuitously making me walk through a fizzler and re-place my portals when adjusting the reflectocube
Completely bugged physics going up the little panel-lift to the stairs after the first puzzle, had to clip because both I and the cube were stuck
I really hope this companion cube is required later
Fizzler. Bird. What is this I don't even
Non-puzzle last room

Your opinions have been noted... Thanks for the gratuitous use of the word gratuitous.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. Off-the-cuff notes.

Hi there, in this map you don't even need the gel. Quick walk through as seen in my thread (mapping-contest/all-glitches-i-could-find-in-summer-mapping-innitiative-maps-t3605.html) ctrl+f your bsp name

I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:

Also note the video description for more feedback and my signature for additional project information.

All hat and no cattle. Change of pace intro, well detailed room, but almost no puzzle. Lots of puzzle elements, but you don't need most of them. If this were a chapter in a novel (since this is to be part of a map pack) it's all exposition and no plot. I hope that the finished product fleshes out the rest of the story. 3/5 from me.
