Why is it .vpk and not .bsp? Will it still work? I have not tried it yet ...

Put the vpk in your /addons folder.

The map had pretty good production value, I'm not going to lie. All of the reddit references were silly and obvious and out of place with the one exception of the anti-zombie fortress off in the distance. That was both subtle and funny.

Portal bumpers, pretty good texturing. The map felt really aimless, but otherwise was a really good use of the "big open room" pattern. Drop the reddit stuff (particularly the "reddit" written in light fixtures, ugh. nightmares) and spend your time making some really good maps.

(For credibility's sake, link to me with 4 year club trophy.)

I missed the reddit train, and now it's on my list of "social sites to avoid because my ex is on there".

It was better than I expected, but my expectations were pretty low since it seemed like an unoriginal piece. It just so happens that pieceoftoast made decent map and add some reddit inside jokes that neither add nor detract.

I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.

Great looking map in Wheatley style, full of details. Gameplay is surprisingly basic: you can beat it with just portaling around, no tecniques save a vertical fling. No funneling, no Testeception room. I always thought these memes were 4chan's.

I agree about not writing on the walls with lights... it makes Wheatley a moron, so don't follow his example.

The reddit references are beyond me, so no inside jokes for me. A quick trip through the funnel, and I was done. Nice looking map, too, perhaps since the reddit stuff couldn't bother me. Too weak in the puzzle department for a 4, so 3/5 from me.
