Hello all Portal 2 Fans and Casual players.....

It came to my attention i kind of stopped doing maps a while ago, so i had this nice map i didn't finish, so the last week i have finished it, i hope you all like it and rate it.

and as always all comments and videos of playing my map is welcome

This map is a 3 chamber puzzle, team work is key in this map...

Good puzzles, lovely design, not too hard and just very enjoyable.
We did find another way to solve puzzle 2 though, we didn't need the laser catcher in the middle, I'll see if I can upload a play-through video later

it took a long time to finish this map too.

i was also in dowbts whether to add voice overs to it, but in the end i decided naaa lol, i dont think it needed them to be honest.

but thanks for the feedback and i cant wait for the playthrough video either

Iviv and LyLy here, and we played The Scientific Basis! We loved this map! Great job on both the tests and the design work. We had a couple issues with the last test's edgeless safety cube, but I already told you about those over Steam. Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see the next one.

We don't know why, but every time we try to start this map, Portal 2 crashes. We verified the game cache; no help there. Too bad for us, based on the reviews we've read here, it looked like a promising map.

I dont know why you are having this issue with my map, i can still play it without any problems if anyone else has this problem please post here, and i will look into it, but some maps just dont work for some people, there is maps i cant play too, it is annoying, maybe 1 of you was having a connection issue when you was trying to load??

EDIT: Actually i think i just realized what could be the reason, on the steam workshop i have a updated version, i forgot to update this file on the forum too, so maybe one was using the new version from the workshop and 1 was using the version from this forum, try just subscribing to the workshop version of my map here

We tried again this week. Redunzl and I play splitscreen, so there is no possibility of a game file inconsistency. I resubscribed to the Workshop version, and copied the map to my maps folder so that we can start it splitscreen.

We always start in the lobby to make sure our controllers are working, then use the console to changelevel to the map we want to play. On this one, the loading screen showed for a moment, then the game crashed. Once again, our loss.

EDIT: LuckyRJ sent me his copy of the map file, and it played in splitscreen. Why I can't download a working version through Steam is still a mystery, but at least I can play the map now.

I have no idea why you and your friend can not play this map, it has 856 ratings so i am unsure now, so it seems it must not be a widespread problem or else i dont think i would have got this many ratings. and no one else has said they have the same issure..

and because you are the only one who has said this i cant even start to think why, but i personally think it is not to do with my map. (hence why i wont be looking into my map - because of the 856 ratings) i just think there must be something on either your computer or your friends that is causing this to happen

Hey dude,

I love Portal and want to collect some gameplays (first blind runs; always aren't the fastest and intended solutions, because I take any time to look at the map and its possibilities), speedruns and bug reports.
My records should help you to understand how the player thinks.
