Description

My first real map after five days of working with hammer. I'm sure there are plenty of problems, mostly with textures, but the logic works fine I think. It is only one chamber with a moderately annoying/difficult puzzle. Thanks for all the advice from everyone who played it. I fixed the chamber so that it is no longer incredibly easy. I did not update any of the textures or lighting further because I'm not planning on really finishing this one. I just wanted it playable. Please play it again if you already did before I updated!

It needs some lighting, less Portal 1 textures and an exit. For the fizzlers, you can use "Texture Fit" on it.

Yeah, I sort of forgot to put out lights . . . and I agree the textures need some work.
Is there a few standard Portal 2 textures that most maps put to use? The collection of textures is fairly large, and I'm not really sure which ones will look best.

As for the exit, there is an exit, and a departure elevator. Once you get on the ledge behind the fizzler, you can portal up to it. I guess I should have labeled that better . . . sorry

You should be able to recognise the Portal 2 textures. Instead of the checkerboard style grey-ish metallic one that meant you could not fire portals at it in Portal 1, use black panels.

For your goo pit problem you can use the tutorails of this site: http://www.youtube.com/user/SolarChronus he has some great tutorials and aal in hd so you can also see what he types and sofort.

also the textures are not correct:
-the first door has an corroded texture at the inside
-the fizzlers textures have an too small texture applied to it so you have to fix that too.
-also you have no lights but thats good so can we sse averything, but estethicly its not nice.

I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:

Thanks everyone for playing. From watching Djinndrache's playthrough I realized my major oversight on that back wall. I corrected it, and now the chamber should be an actual puzzle of sorts.
