[SP] Decode
Update 1.2.2: Read Below! Solve puzzles to reveal parts of the code required to unlock the door at the end. This is my first Portal 2 map. Puzzles range from easy to medium difficulty and many involve flinging. Update 1.2.2: 1. Fixed an exploit that could cause one of the puzzles to be solved very easily, bypassing the intended solution. 2. Made minor changes to prevent an area being reached in a manner not intended by the author. Update 1.2: 1. Made it ACTUALLY impossible to get trapped in sphere silos. 2. Made laser crawl tunnels easier to navigate while holding a cube or sphere (if you'd want to do that) 3. Fixed some autosaves triggering right before falling into death water. Update 1.1: 1. Fixed some doors opening on touch, which made some puzzles pointless. 2. Fixed some nodraw textures above dispensers 3. Placed portal placement helpers around map 4. Fixed some door open/close triggers 5. Added observation rooms. 6. Made it more difficult (hopefully impossible) to get stuck in certain areas without a way to portal out. Overall this update improves gameplay by removing the need to place portals in just the right spot, as well as by adding more signage to make goals clearer. If you've already downloaded this map and played through it, don't bother with the update, but if you've downloaded it and haven't played it, please re-download as this version will provide as more satisfying experience. Underground Innovation
My first Underground map, and first released Portal 2 map, but not my first one. Lets see, it has old-style Faith Plates, wait, those have been done already. It also has Gel Cubes, wait, reepblue's making those too. Argh. To put it shortly, it somewhat sucks. But tell me if you're having difficulties/bugs, and I'll respond. [Changelog] Made it more clear what to do and what things do. Tried my best to clear the exploit where you can beat the map without the Repulsion Gel Other crap I can't remember I hope I'm not late!
Careful Cube
Don't harm that cube! A small map that features 3 rooms in which you have to capture a cube from each of them to succeed! Special thanks to... msleeper (Elevators) Hope you all enjoy playing this map. Fixed bugs in v1.3 - Changed buttons to get rid of shortcuts - Made it so player couldn't get stuck behind the panel - Made it harder to get the cube
Catch
This map combines visual candy, and a few mechanics like lasers, funnels, etc... I hope you enjoy playing on this map! Also, video demonstration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uq7S8iYZkwA -Ben Henry Changelog: 3.0 -Added a faith plate on a panel when the cube redirects the laser. -Fixed some texture issues. -Added 2 more panels where you have to walk out to the funnel. -Re-positioned the laser catcher to make the probability of the cube redirecting the laser to the laser catcher (if that makes sense) -Also, changed the model for the laser catcher to a bigger area to power, also increasing the probability of the laser redirecting correctly.
Oblivious Paranoia (Portal 2)
This campaign was originally just an aesthetics test, but evolved into a 15-20 minute campaign. The ending is... terrible. But hey, the rest is really pretty! Contains: -Custom Textures -Paint -Flinging -Time Travel -More Time Travel -A joke The tests aren't particularly difficult. If the last one seems broken, reload the last save. This is a very rare event to occur, so most likely you'll be okay. If anyone does actually want to make a walkthrough, go ahead, I won't stop you. Anyway, enjoy the map! Don't forget to rate it and perhaps comment on ways to improve it!
Cube
Description: You wake up in the middle of the cube and have no instructions to make it to the end. This is a fairly small map. When you make it to the end the map should close itself. My first map/first time using any map maker. Instructions: Download the file and follow the instruction inside if you don't know what you're doing. To start: Run portal 2, open console and type in "map cube_v03" Versions: cube: first version, had unintended solution cube_v02: Fixed unintended solution cube_v03: Previous version was missing a portable surface when you enter the final room, sorry! To start with this was a recreation of the propulsiongelmap showed off at e3 2010, but then I decided to make it in the wheatleystyle and then I wanted to add another chamber to get more out off the puzzle.
