Aerial Devastation

Funnels and Lasers
The first map I've ever made for Portal. It's a quick, simple one. Oh and criticism is an awesome thing, provide some. (:
2 Props 1 Cube
Come into a room where you have to go through a few linked laser puzzles to get to a button which gives access to a light bridge and will then require a series of light bridge based puzzles to get to a box. This is my first complete map and it has been a learning experience. I'm aware I have a very poor judgement of size within hammer, hopefull I'll be able to better address that in future maps. My Entry for the ThinkingWithPortals Summer Mapping Initiative! -INSTALLATION- Place the maps folder under steamapps/common/portal 2/portal2. If it asks to overwrite say yes, you won't lose anything. -TO PLAY- Once installed, in game open the developer console (`) and type "map sp_grox_dis_en", then hit enter. co-op map made to be run in cheats. please enjoy information in the instructions and the vmf. hs been included, contact info at bottom of instructions, tell your friends! oh and sorry for crappy look im focusing on that right before i release. oh and I guess the included vmf. was limited time only cause im removing it.
Map Test
This is my first map for Portal 2. Don't expect valve quality, as this is my first time using a map editor. I'm still learning the tools, and will continue to add to this map. Deception
Currently working on my first map for Portal 2, and while I did a bit of dabbling with hammer when halflife 2 and then when Portal 1 came out nothing came of it. Anyway, this is the 2nd room from my larger map, that I like some feedback on You enter this test chamber through a broken door from the previous test chamber. So far: Puzzle done (might need tweaking - hence the testing haha) Texturing - in progress (50%+ done i'd say) Detailing - in progress The rest of the map isn't with this as yet, as i've been learning as I go so the first room and some other things I won't go into (spoiler for the map otherwise lol) are in the process of being redesigned/updated. Btw, this rooms puzzle will be part of a larger puzzle. Any comments about anything in it is helpful!

My first Portal 2 map, and part of my Entry series which is still in the works. I'm submitting this map for the contest. A seemingly simple small puzzle map that requires a little thinking to solve.

A medium skilled co-op chamber for the Summer Mapping Initiative contest. The chamber includes a spawn and exit elevator plus the following Portal 2 elements: fling, turrets, laser, laser cube, light bridge and a catapult.
