Portal 2

Timed Button Example

A simple little puzzle I created for someone to demonstrate how to set up a timed button. It was meant to take five minutes to make, but I got distracted by something else, and then when I came back, I got carried away and made it a full-blown proof-of-concept puzzle. I was hoping my first upload would be something a little more exciting, but here you go. Don't download this if you're looking for an actual puzzle; this is the simplest one you could ever imagine. Known bugs: For some reason, the logic_playerproxy doesn't work, so PotatOS is on the portalgun.

This is an intro map for the conversion gel for a mod I am working on. Please PM me with your name if you want to be put in the credits as a map tester. -Known Bugs- 1. The door trigger doesn't seem to work. If the door won't open, noclip through it. 2. The storage cube is a bit difficult to Portal out of the room. 3. The Portal Gun sometimes won't stop shooting. To stop this, move your mouse out of Portal 2, click, and back to Portal 2. Please report any bugs, and give suggestions.

This is my first map but it turned out pretty well. It's not quite done yet, I still have to do texturing and add some details to pretty it up a bit. The gameplay is done however, so let me know what you think. I haven't had anyone playtest the map yet so I'm not really sure of the difficulty, and if you could post a video of you first playthrough it would really help with improving the map. Anyways, it's a pretty simple map where you have to rotate a pillar with lasers on it in order to reach the end. Everyone likes spinning lasers, right? Hope you like it, and let me know if you have any issues. UPDATE - Made some minor changes to the level layout to help guide the player - Added entrance and exit elevators

Need feedback (the more the better) to proceed* * - The background music will be added in the last turn. I need to know is it interesting to play? How long people will be just hang around before understand what they have to do? Or maybe there are some unintended solutions or bugs. Maybe you could offer interesting design solution, puzzle or interesting sound for things which i left without it...I will accept any help I spent a huge amount of time on making this map, so i want it to be almost perfect, at least without some very stupid and simple issues that i just has missed by accident or by the lack of knowledge. (since English is not my native language, i can suck in grammar or spelling) Updated: Added the 3D skybox Fixed ladders (as much as i can) Known problems: Using save while climbing on the ladders get point_viewcontrol stops while parent entities still moving that causing problem with use of ladders later

Single Player map, deciding if I want to add another chamber, here or pop in an exit elevator with a new map loaded up. All I've done so far is add puzzle elements and a few pieces of ambience. I'm still working on decorations as well as adding some custom Glados speech.

This is the normal arm64x64_interior with all it's animations and skins but additional physical hitboxes. Now prop_physics or players can collide with it without any clip-brush. Clean and rusty skins are in 1 model. Skin 0-2 is clean, 3-5 is rusty. (0 normal, 1 off, 2 error) I recommend to use this model just if necessary (avoiding possible mistakes made due decompiling).
