This is a contest entry and my first map so please let me know how i went with some comments, it would be very much appreciated.
Aerial Devastation
Hello i dont enter in contest that much, but why not? my main focus on the level is faith plates. they were the most funnest part for me in the game. it has 3 chambers each with its own unique way of using the faithplates. have fun! so far ive love portal 2's level design its easy and fun Current Version:v3 Update to v3: -fixed the potato gun -add more detail to the chambers -made the last area more puzzle oriented ================ Pictures: http://imgur.com/0BY0S&yVQ6p&KtJF2&rW3U ... Funnels and Lasers
The first map I've ever made for Portal. It's a quick, simple one. Oh and criticism is an awesome thing, provide some. (:
2 Props 1 Cube
Come into a room where you have to go through a few linked laser puzzles to get to a button which gives access to a light bridge and will then require a series of light bridge based puzzles to get to a box. This is my first complete map and it has been a learning experience. I'm aware I have a very poor judgement of size within hammer, hopefull I'll be able to better address that in future maps. My Entry for the ThinkingWithPortals Summer Mapping Initiative! -INSTALLATION- Place the maps folder under steamapps/common/portal 2/portal2. If it asks to overwrite say yes, you won't lose anything. -TO PLAY- Once installed, in game open the developer console (`) and type "map sp_grox_dis_en", then hit enter. Entry01
My first Portal 2 map, and part of my Entry series which is still in the works. I'm submitting this map for the contest. A seemingly simple small puzzle map that requires a little thinking to solve.
[SP] Wall Button and Box Racing
A testing sphere containing two puzzles, one has a button on the wall and the other has a box gliding while you race the clock to get to the end. Set in the 70's, in underground Aperture. UPDATE: Remade the box slide - removed the blue gel, made slide steeper and blocked the player from jumping into it.
