Portal - Advanced Challenges
Challenge versions for the Advanced maps These files add challenge versions for each of the advanced maps for Portal I have changed the gold requirements for a few chambers, as the values for the normal chambers was impossible for these maps... (chamber 13 seems high... but the best i could get was 8, but i think 7 is possible which is why i put it as gold...) I have also made a little icon for it... Instructions: - Extract contents of zip file to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\\portal\portal a folder called scripts should appear... a new icon will appear next to challenges and advanced maps in the bonus maps menu... enjoy! :D

This is a BETA of maybe a coming portal map Test_chamber_47_adv This is the new portal map I'm wokring with right now, this is only 3 rooms so far. Why this name have a "adv" after it is that this is the advanced part of this map. Question: Do you want to play more on this map? Contact: Email - [email protected] INStALL. Extract the Test_chamber_47_adv into to your Portal directory. C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\\portal\portal\Maps Load up Portal, and type in "map test_chamber_47_adv" in your console.. And you, if you have played my map. Thanks! To install, follow these steps Open the MTN_PortalMap WinZip with WinRar. Extract the Maps folders to your portal dictionary. C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\\portal\portal If asked to overwrite any thing, say YES. Load up Portal, The map will be in the bonus maps. Play through the maps, the level will change as you get to a certain point. The puzzles get harder as you move on. Once you have completed all 4 maps and have seen the ending the game will disconnect to the main menu for you. If you have encountered any bugs or want to give feedback, feel free to e-mail me. If you are going to edit my creation / use for advertisement or add into it; you must give credit to me and ask for my permission. Detailed, large and varied portal chamber. A large custom Portal level with swift and varied difficulty progression leading up to a unique "boss" battle. You awaken to an alternate chamber leading to a bts section where turret maintenance was performed but has now been converted into a testing facilty for military androids.". *** Note: This is a NEW version to match the bonus challenge updates as of July 8, 2009 *** ~ this download contains the folder info and original (updated) chamber map ~ "The bonus challenge map" is included in a separate zip due to file size constraints. get it @ http://myaperturelabs.com/file.php?id=205 See the readme file for additional details. PMK 4 with advanced and challenge versions WARNING - IF YOU HAVE v1.0 OR THE TWP CONTEST VERSION INSTALLED YOU MUST DELETE THE DIRECTORY "PMK_4" IN: C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\\portal\portal\maps BEFORE INSTALLING THIS VERSION. Extract the file PMK_4.bmz somewhere memorable and load Portal. Click on bonus maps and click import. Find PMK_4.bmz you saved earlier and press open.

Aldez's Test Chamber
My first bonus map for Portal. This is my first bonus map for Portal. My goal wasn't to make a challenging map, but to make a map that covers many of the basic elements of Portal. I hope you enjoy it nevertheless. Another version of it was an entry in the February contest. In this version I've fixed a lot of minor bugs and hopefully got rid of all exploits. The map is embedded in a bmz file and it includes the least portals/steps/time challenges.

Contains 3 regular/advanced and 6 small extra maps WARNING - IF YOU HAVE v1.0 or v1.1 INSTALLED YOU MUST DELETE THE DIRECTORY "PMK" IN: C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\\portal\portal\maps BEFORE INSTALLING VERSION 1.2! Difficulty: Mixed Size: Mixed A collection of maps I've been working on since the SDK release. It contains: 3 regular maps with challenges 3 advanced maps 6 small extra maps Also, its in BMZ format for easy installation Enjoy :) Changes: ver 1.2 - Fixed a glitch where the player could walk along the wall in the first room on PMK 3 and PMK 3 Advanced - Added mist to the goo pit near the exit on PMK 2 and PMK 2 Advanced. Also the lights in the same room have been adjusted to provide more light. - Fixed the exit door on extra 2 & 6 so the player can't open it by touching it - Removed one GlaDOS speech from PMK 3 and PMK 3 Advanced to provide some peace and quiet :P - Lowered the lightmap resolution in all the maps on walls which didn't require good light detail. Managed to decrease overall zipped filesize from 26.1 MB to 23.1 MB - Few minor texture alignments (Mostly overlays) ver 1.1 - Fixed box not respawning when dropped into the goo near the exit on PMK 2 and PMK 2: Advanced

T Squared; very scary Hey all, decided to open up hammer for the first time one day and this is what I got. Constructive criticism is welcome, just don't bash me too hard 'cause it's my first map ever. I don't really know why I decided to call it T², I guess it's just what was on my mind (it's not even scary). Enjoy!
