Windows 7 is pretty much vista sans bugs (with a slightly less cool interface, granted, but I can point you to some visual styles that make it look pretty much exactly the same)
And I wholeheartedly agree, and it seems microsoft has at least taken a hint - I read that windows 7 will still be sold alongside windows 8, with store clerks to tell customers the differences.
