True story: there's a place not far from my house that serves the absolute best and sloppiest cheeseburgers I have ever tasted. My favorite: a double (or triple) bacon cheeseburger with ketchup, mayo, and cheddar. It's impossible to do anything else while eating it because of the grease, but believe me, it is worth it.

Pity it's only open during the summer.

But I'm hijacking this thread, back to the subject.

I hate burgers believe it or not.

Back to the topic, what does these surveys mean? People are environmentally stupid because they can't understand crappy metaphoric symbols?

The more that do it, the more I can get different suggestions. The teacher just said we needed 6 for each.

Imagine you have an assignment where you have to create a symbol which represented 'carbon tax||'. You have designed around 20 or so symbols and now you need to decide which out of a possible good three you chosen which will communicate the meaning the best. Seeing as you know what these symbols are meant to be, and so does the client (this case the teacher) I need an unbiased opinion to see if it actually communicates this message. i.e. survey of random people and if I get a high percentage of good responses that would be the logo to choose.

Long story short: it's an exercise which develops and displays competent designing skills.||
