Don't feed that guy, Logic, his ignorance is not worth the hassle here. Better solve that puzzle instead.

Well, I for one, loved the test course. Legally. Nice work, Jaxe! Though I could not for the life of me understand I had to jump in that broken tube in the gel tube chamber (after the part with the fans) in part 2 without looking everywhere else first.

Also, I can appreciate both the use of the workshop and the polish on creating a set with picture. Dunno' why, it's probably not even that hard, but it befalls me well.

I like you style, logic. I too always enjoy a nice free pizza.

I left a comment on the workshop, but I'll include my thoughts here in a little more detail for completeness. All the maps were (sadly!) laggy to some extent - it was tolerable enough though on low settings. Visually everything was immaculate, and the puzzles were enjoyable too. The puzzle where you end up redirecting lasers through a horizontal portal on a vertical surface felt a little awkward, but I was pleased to get the solution. I particularly enjoyed faith-plating around the destroyed room, and the final set up was fantastic fun (sucking the speed gel, splogellating it all over the place, flying head-first into the faith plate, bouncing off the blue gel from before - Wow! What a great sequence!.

Great effort - thanks for mapping!

[Should this be tagged as [SP] or [PTI?] Yes, it's in the workshop, but it's Hammer-made!]

Can I say something? THIS WAS AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING!!! Really cool mappack- puzzles very clever and well worked-out, design awesome, story awesome, and pretty interesting twists , and yeah unfortunately FPS were dropping in some places to me too, but I don't know why everybody complain about it so badly, I think it isn't so bad, and I didn't have to lower settings at all, it was even with that occasional FPS drops still nicely playable. Really great job Jaxe, I enjoyed it alot - especially how elevator started moving so fast and then how it arrived into caves, at the end in that small alley I feeled like in HL2 episode two

Thanks.

I released an update for pats 1 and 2 (working on 3 now) to address some performance problems. It didn't completely fix it but it is improved. It made it playable for some where it wasn't before at least.

Also I added some small hints and better lighting where people were getting stuck and missing important things.

Great map pack Jaxe. Valve quality, great graphics and interesting puzzles. Not too hard but not too easy either just perfect to have pure fun. Loved the twist of action and I think you suceeded as it goes on optimization (I didn`t have any lags). Not fully convinced as for adding the signs though second part would be definitely tougher. All in all I can only thank you for giving me a quality time with this relaese. In my opinion should be in community spotlight. 5/5 from me and waiting for more

This is the most beautifully constructed set of maps that I have seen. I was really loving it through Part 1, but then the gameplay started to suffer in Part 2, and Part 3 was a real letdown. I liked the mechanic of using the faithplate to fling through portals at a sideways angle; there were at least a couple moments of "I can make it there from here?"

Then I got to room at the top, and I was thinking, "Finally, a real puzzle to solve at last!" But no, just another needle in a haystack of useless elements. It reminds me of the trek to get to GlaDOS at the end of the original game: really nice to look at, but a chore to get through.

I really want to give this a 5 for the sheer scale, detail and beauty of it, but the lack of gameplay the farther you go just won't let me. 4/5.

Thank you for the feedback. I agree there are problems with part 3. There are many things I would do differently if I were to rebuild it from scratch.
