TWP Youtube: 2012 contest gameplay videos

Hello all,

I just wanted to make everyone aware that I will be uploading gameplay videos of all the submitted contest maps under a separate playlist on the official ThinkingWithPortals Youtube channel. I'm mainly doing this because the contest is a great opportunity to populate the youtube channel with new content relatively quickly.

As always, all our no-nonsense gameplay videos carry obnoxious red text disclaimers regarding spoilers, before the video even starts.

Here is the link to the playlist:

http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... re=mh_lolz

If you'd like to subscribe to the channel, just click on my signature.

Thanks to all of the contest participants, as well as the TWP staff and the folks at the Portal wiki for putting this contest together, as well as Valve for providing the prizes.

I actually recorded yours at about 3:00 am this morning. I was so impressed that I uploaded it first. It was also one of the longer videos, so I wanted to get those out of the way. The longest run I did last night was "The Corrupted".

Oh, and there's six more videos in the playlist. I had them set to be added last night, but Youtube screwed up and just uploaded them to the general video section.

I'll play and record all of the singleplayer maps, you'll be able to find them in this playlist: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2AE03379A74B43AC
Subscribe to my channel to not miss any of them

Not sure yet about the coop maps since my usual coop partner svenofix is in holidays for one more month now.

As usual all of my videos are blind playthroughs, that means it's the first time that I play and explore them.

I hope you find a new Coop-partner then since I prosure you need to judge the Coop maps nevertheless? Your blindruns are great to watch and I sincerely hope that you'll get around to upload one after you've played my map, I have a super-great time watching them!:D

Great to hear you enjoy them
Needless to say, if I happen to find a decent coop player, then I'll also record and upload all of the coop maps of this contest. Just can't promise by now that it will be sooner than my original coop mate returns.

Alright, so we have 20 out of 37 contest submissions recorded to video. Some maps were disqualified, others were too buggy or confusing to coherently record. Again, the playlist is located here:

I know mine was probably considered too buggy to record, but if you give yourself a portalgun with the console a lot of them go away. I forgot that the workshop's renaming takes away the sp_ prefix.
