if you guys are having problems its probably the update
my game couldn't run after the update and I had to verify

so verify.... make sure you can play the puzzlemaker normally
then install the beemod

Had to re-verify mine as well. Updates seem to break Portal 2 pretty regularly, most irritating.

Making it catch specific cubes chosen from a menu is impossible. Use Hammer if you want something like that. (Although an incinerator might be fun.)

can you actually picture what that would be like in the PTI?

Bomb dropper - okay they're on my list for 2.0
Wheatley monitors- he'd just stand there saying nothing
reflection gel - is broken, but I could get an almost working version... however Carl's style mod already adds that
Modified fizzlers - what type? laser fizzlers?, because that is bassically impossible
relaxation vault??? how can I add this into the PTI? the extended relaxation annex was only shown in video, so impossible to get the source for it. I'm not saying I dont have it, because I do (HERE), and its in back-stock
Trigger Hurts - what you want random voxels for people to walk in, and for no reason start getting hurt??

Yeah, I do not envy the person that would have to make an instance for the Surface Division Field, (and I would know,) so I don't think that should be attempted for the PTI.

As for the rest of the fields, feel free to use those, of course.

Also, I hardly ever use the PTI (for prototyping) but might it be a good idea for 2.0 to create a switch button that, upon pressing the second time, fires the "unpressed" logic like with a floor button? I've seen people use logic gates to make a button switch back its purpose and I think this might be beneficial, even though it seems trivial. Correct me if I'm missing something here, though.

My logic gates mod includes a flip-flop which would do this.

Custom test elements. There should be instances in the download database under miscellaneous.

I just updated Portal 2 with the new PTI Co-op, and it unsurprisingly uninstalled the mod. After I installed it again, Portal 2 crashes to the desktop right before it finished loading the menu. Does anyone know what is causing this and/or how to fix it?

Um... we've been discussing this.
Ben updated the mod for the new coop PeTI. Just download the newer version and install

I made a co-op chamber with a Pneumatic Diversity Vent where one of Blue's portals is under the vent, and the other on a ceiling. One of Orange's portals is on the floor below Blue's second portal, and the other behind a few turrets. The problem is that the turrets aren't getting sucked into Orange's portal because the suction from the vent will only go through one of the two sets of portals. Is there any way you could fix this?

Unfortunately, the suction area is a sphere, not a line. It's simply not reaching all the way through.

that is a very interesting idea, and I am a bit surprised this doesn't happen automatically. but my guess is that valve set it up so that the suction only goes through one to stop a recursive effect if you placed the portals too close to each other

I could fix this, however it would be a painful fix, and it would probably cause a new host of problems unless you set your chambers up just right
