I am making it fr a mod where you use these to go from test chamber to test chamber. I wanted to make something like the doors from Monsters Inc but portal-like. Tell me what you think.

Well i really tried to make the pipes better but its such a pain in the ass that i left them like that. Im gonna try again because they really do look bad.

Wow. Looks amazing. Will it be the difficulty standard of most of your maps?
The P1-style fizzlers look a bit out of place with everything else P2-style.
The laserfields look a bit too small. The Y-scale of the laserplane texture is usually (iirc) just 0.25.
The pipe to the geldropper looks a bit strange, but I haven't seen it in-game so I can't judge.
Other than that, looking good!

1."P1-style fizzler" is custom power field with its own features. It destroys physic objects and blocks "shootting" portals through it.
2.Laserfield is custom one by Josepezdj. When I saw it first I told him the same

Why? Not ofc. The cube dropper is copied from actual Valve's map. With the gel dropper I let my fancy go.

Well, I do like them a lot... Look at Markiu's maps, he always uses them and I think they match with certain maps, like there and here
Also, as Grey said they emit a special forcefield and they look perfect here. However Grey, don't you feel like hexing the model and making a custom skin? we both could prepare some skins and see if you like any

Hehe... even being custom ones, their Y scale can be set however you prefer
open them up a litte if you like them most
