You know you have been doing too much hammer when you walk into a drab house and try to apply a different texture
Or you lose your tv remote and try to put an output from the tv to some random remotes

You know, now that I think of it, most stuff that have patterns on it are cut-off in real life (tiles, bricks, wood walls etc.) and most people whine about this in games. This makes me wonder even more if people whine equally as much about patterns/textures in real life.

Well ML, I do... I think hammer is making me crazy or something, I can't stop watching many misaligned textures everyday in real life! In my own house! arggghhh...

Same with me!

I cannot get over how easy it would be to fix the alignment of the ceiling tiles at panda express. I'm always thinking " C'mon, really? You could have moved that texture about moved it over 64 units on x, but you chose to misalign it."

Also, when you try to determine how many units sections of buildings would be.

ALSO, when you see a parking garage and enthuse about how much much it looks like a bts concrete floor texture.

I know I've been doing too much hammer when I get asked to move something a bit in one direction and I twitch one of my arrow key fingers. I bet this occurs rather often for a lot people.

EDIT: Also, I saw a shiny floor today and seriously wondered where the cubemap was located.

Whenever I close doors, I imagine an areaportal is closing and nothing behind the door is there anymore

When you post the following screenshot of Tomb Raider on your page...

... and the first reaction is:

Quote:
For some reason I almost thought that was a custom skinned Chell in an overgrown test chamber xD

Well this is more related to Portal2: when your eye strain doesn't allow you to see clearly what's that weird spot on the floor near a chair in your workplace and instintively use your mouse wheel to zoom in

Based in actual events that took place just a minute ago...

When you see the floor in your house that is next to the sliding door that reflects sunlight being blocked by clouds and unblocked, and wonder if that would be a vertex texture.

When you feel ready to strangle the designers of your house for not aligning a single texture on the floor. I go through this every day.

Sometimes for some odd reason I think about decompiling houses and cities that are not maps.

I really don't understand why people get so annoyed from misaligned tiles.
