For the database, add a proper ability to browse.

Also when I click "search" all the maps have "missing picture" thumbnails.

This has been discussed in the past, but I'd like to see it added before the site's launch. I feel like forum-goers should have tags or titles that reward posting outside of off-topic. Since post count already reflects this, having the titles or tags added corresponding to various post thresholds seems like it'd be cool. I suggest something along the lines of (this is just an idea here):

[list:1yyvn2bs]0-50 posts: Drifter
51-100: Test Subject
100-175: Test Associate
176-275: Test Designer
276-400: Hobo King
401-600 (Thinking big here): Junior VP
601+: Senior Aperture Science Vice President
OVER 9000: Mantis Mann[/list:u:1yyvn2bs]

Another thing we should have is (and we may already have this, I don't know) ability to integrate SFM videos into the download database - possibly supporting video embed/preview and video source download.

I'm still waiting for custom titles for the founders

As the leader of the failed mod who wanted to practically make Portal Opensource, I want ALL of us to have custom titles even the underlings around here.

mAL had custom titles. I liked it. Right now we don't have enough people for making a feature founder-only, as that would only exclude like, two people.

I suggest doing something to promote the site for new members.

We need to wait until the site is ready. It's close, but not quite there yet.

I made an edit to a post, and it created a duplicate of it with my edits. By the looks of it, this's happened to a few other people more than a couple times.

How are the Community Spotlights going to be 'elected'? Are we going to keep Imperator until the next contest?

I actually didn't really think about it. I guess I'll set up a voting thing or something like that eventually.

Maybe if a map gets x voting in y amount of time, an admin could be contacted and he could manually feature it; so that a map doesn't stay for only 1 hour for instance.

I can't submit anything to the database now...something about a missing "contest" field messing up the SQL?

Oh dear, must have broken that yesterday without realizing it. I'll put the warning back up, and the site should be fixed within a day or two.

Edit: mostly fixed, still haven't gotten around to seeing what's up with the workshop getter, and seals of approval aren't a thing yet. But the infrastructure is there.

Bam. Workshop all fixed (turns out I broke the description bit last time I updated the AJAX script, and steam started using 9-digit map ids), and seals of approval are up.

Still not entirely happy with the database infrastructure, but it's quite a bit better now (all in one database, ha ha) so I can't complain too much.

That reminds me that we have a wiki and need to put articles on it...

Hurr. Yeah. I locked all editing (can't remember if just normal users or all editing in general) a while ago because the spam was racking up. In two (2) days I will be back home and able to start crunching on my todo list, so if you can't edit then hit me with a PM sometime in the next few days and I'll give you the correct permissions.

Looks like nobody, because I can log in but cannot edit anything (and I'm a mod).
