That's a pretty nifty way of getting through the first room. The old thread (topic4995.html) has some other ways. And don't feel incredibly stupid, because I don't think anyone has beat this as intended yet.
Here is my (third) solution. This time I am 82% sure it is the intended solution...

Why you can't update your other Thread?
New Account, new topic ...
Yes jonatan. And you, too, participated in its creation.
Good play! Thanks for gameplay video!
Thats sick jonatan lol.I got the 2 cubes to the back but got stuck after that.Spent 2 hours trying to figure it out and called it a day.
All that work for this?

Maps which rely on dropping cubes and hoping they land pointed in the right direction aren't puzzles, they're games of chance. Maps which force you to jump through portals with lasers that throw you into fizzlers aren't challenging, they're poorly designed.
The puzzle is a tough one, and I like that. But the fact that thre are many opportunities for tiny missteps to force you to start over is maddening.
Usually when I solve a tough puzzle, I get a sense of satisfaction. This one took me days, the entire last one of which was spent just trying to execute what I knew needed to be done. I was left with a feeling of extreme aggravation. Just 3/5 from me.
It took me days also, but I see that as a good thing. I did not find any execution particular challenging. The only thing difficult was the cube drops (which I'm not sure is required) but after a couple minutes practice even that was not very hard. If you do it right there is no or few elements of chance.

Well, to Chander's credit, this map took me far fewer quick loads than your map, Enigma. And it was completely playable even with a controller.
Agreed, Enigma is bad in many ways. I need redo it.
About this map: Maybe, Chander you could enlighten us if the solution I posted or a similar one is the one you intended or if you had something else entirely in mind?

I got into the second room the first time using a different method than you did (yo-yoed the cube to alternate the fizzlers), but I think your way was the intended solution. I couldn't see any use for the button under the floor of the third room. I also would like to know if Chander had something else in mind.

The button is not needed for the solution but I figured the button is there so that you can not get stuck in the third room and the reason it is under ground in the currently latest version 5 is probably to prevent the solution I proposed for version 4.
I found alternative solutions to Jonatan's for some of the parts. I don't know which are the intended ones. The method I used to get from the first to the second room feels more tidy and logical, however the bit to open the side of the second room for which I used a very slanted laser is most likely not the intended solution because the point of the receptacle being put deep into a hole was most likely to avoid this kind of trick. Still, it is actually a bit easier of execution than dragging both cubes from the other side of the fizzler and drop them, and also it avoids having to place a portal under the grill in the first room.. Neither of those actually feels like the intended solution, IMO, though with Chander tests expect anything. I both enjoyed very much and cursed this map many times. I guess that was the goal, so mission accomplished
Here are the videos. I even provide the smooth jazz to go with it
PS: it is in two parts but from the same play. Also I have no idea why the laser relays make weird squishy noises, it was fine when I played.

I have my own ratings system for maps.
Chander 3 and 6 were rated as Excellent.
This map was rated in a rare category that I simply call "Too Difficult".
That is when a map has certain tricks to solve it that are off the Richter scale of ordinary, and even intelligent thinking. It would have rated an Excellent if not for the extreme degree laser shots into that 10-foot alligator cave. That and also shoot down into the wall lighting fixtures to hit it again on the way back was simply impossible to figure out for 99.99% of the players.
The other things that got me was that there is no need for the light bridge, no need for the room at the end of the light bridge, and no need for the button under the floor in the 2nd to last room. I guess they were put in there as Red Herrings to throw us off. And they did throw me off a lot. It was very frustrating. However I love Chander's other maps.

Hey man, the laser shot was just my solution which I am pretty sure is not the intended one. Also, I am not sure what is your beef with the lightbridge because once it can be activated the way out is open anyway, so it can't really throw you off.
More generally, I think it is great that there are people like Chander or Jonatan doing very hard maps out there. Of course not everyone should do that, but when you have played a lot of custom maps that only take you minutes to finish, it's great to have some maps that may take you hours to figure out. It's all about offering a variety of choice for players, noboday HAS to play them. It can indeed be incredibly frustrating when you're stuck, and trust me I've had my share of this, but it is also incredibly rewarding when you find the way out. So keep up the good (hard) work, please!
Actually you can activate the light bridge right from the start by using both cubes in the first room to send the first laser all the way through to the second-last room. Then you run through all the fizzlers and portal the laser up from the floor. With some fiddling it can reach the lightbridge sensor and you can go exploring the pointless easter-egg room. Note: this has nothing to do with any solution!
Just watching those walkthroughs made my brain hurt. I got to the last room with both cubes, but I couldn't figure it out from there. And I'm glad I gave up because I don't think I ever would have figured it out. Love your 3 and 5, Chander, but this one was too much for me.
