Description
Hello i dont enter in contest that much, but why not? my main focus on the level is faith plates. they were the most funnest part for me in the game. it has 3 chambers each with its own unique way of using the faithplates. have fun! so far ive love portal 2's level design its easy and fun Current Version:v3 Update to v3: -fixed the potato gun -add more detail to the chambers -made the last area more puzzle oriented ================ Pictures: http://imgur.com/0BY0S&yVQ6p&KtJF2&rW3U ... There was a texture missing for me looking into the first exit door.
I love faith plates, but this was really easy. Enjoyed the 2nd puzzle the most.
Agree with everything Chewbacha said. (Though i don't like faith plates XP but the 2. and 3. puzzle were indeed kinda fun)
Bugs: orange frame out of door no.1, map void when opening door no.2, orange stairs when going outside, orange catapults afterwards.
As for the rest, you hold your own with actually building the level... but the design leaves me indifferent. Needs authorial contrasts (white, openings, structures), to grab attention from our lord the black wall.
well as long as you guys had fun, my goal was accomplished.

i know about the orange and black dev textures, i just started detailing. one of the portals has a leak (most likly).
ill add more contrast. thank you for the feedback! 
Ok too easy, too obvious, and an area_portal is not used correctly. Sorry for being blunt but thease are the issues I see, aside from ORANGE!!

yes sorry at the time i was still detailing. all i wanted to test was the gameplay, later today ill have a visual appealing to please you folks.
Edit: it could also be you've been testing different portal maps making it easier to see where to go.
my point wasnt for it to be hard or challenging i just wanted people to have fun

-some visual tweaks and more detail (look on bottom for screenshots)
-fixed last area not having a trigger_hurt

does anyone know how to get rid of the potato gun? i cant seem to figure it out, any help and i will love you
Since no one replyed i was able to fix it. it has something todo with the global_ents instance if you use a specific relay in it, it will make you spawn with the potato gun. its more easier just to make your own ents then to deal with that.

Nice. Visually appealing, the little arm animations and faling panels roked perfectly. The first puzzle was kind of simple, solved that one right away. The second one was harder, once I figured out what to do it was really tough because you only have a split second to fire your portal at the intended surface. I liked the third puzzle, it had me guessing for a while till I got it. But the final faithplate right at the end was kind of useless, I just funneled right past it
wait a minute... i'm looking back at the rest of the posts and you got to update your contest submission?!?!? Cause I didn't see any of the bugs mentioned above, and I thought you weren't allowed to change your submission once you sent it in. Thats a little unfair

You were allowed to change the submission before the deadline, unless you mean he edited afterwards, in which case IDK what he did since editing them is locked.
ah ok. I worked on mine right up to the deadline didn't know I could have pre-submitted it first for a bit of testing =/
anyways, nice but again, I didn't need the plate right at the end
also, the little BTS parts were pretty well done I liked your approach to it
well thanks for playing thro my level. my plan on the last chamber was to use the funnel to drop thro and land on the last faith plate. but it seems misaligned the portal panel on the wall so you can just fly thro i also forgot to put a portal panel on the other side where the player can get stuck.
that was an awesome play thro krem!
I like flings, whether gravity or catapult propelled, so I liked this map. If the puzzle design lived up to the visuals, this map could have been fantastic!
I play with a controller, so shooting while flying is usually a problem for me. This map didn't require aiming and shooting while flying, so I was able to line up the shot before the fling.
This map has one bug that I have recently seen in other maps: cubes fall through the surface of faith plates. In the final room of this map, if you fling the cube onto the faith plate, it falls through the plate and fizzles in the water. Thankfully, this is a contest map, some I can compare this faith plate with others that work and maybe learn to avoid this problem myself. However, if someone already knows what causes this, I wouldn't mind the education.
Looks and fun alone earn a 4/5 from me.
I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.

I can't believe this map's rating was only 3/5. It's not perfect but it's better than average. Sure it's easy but overall it's a refreshingly fun map. Good work.

I think it has to do with the fact that you can get stuck in various ways throughout the level.
Also this map was released during the competition there were a hell of a lot high quality maps in a very small amount of time!
And now it's 4/5 btw
