WOO! It's out!
I'll send you a revised pack of my items on Saturday, I've been very busy the past two weeks. Sorry.
Well, buggy as me and other people mentioned on steam (Well, I know it's a WIP) but it's good with the items that do work, but some items are confusing and some don't work.
Attempting to build for the Portal 1 style resulted in that vbsp did not generate a prt file, making vvis fail...

Did you install the updated version? (Even though I don't know if it has anything to do with it?)

I installed whatever version was available about 2 hours before I posted.
Hmm, I have the same problem with only publishing it with any style. Nothing helped, so I'll try reinstall it.
Edit: Didn't work

add new items to the BEE2, or just use the items given in portal 2?
Back in January when the last version of style changer was released I understood Karl was working on the destroyed style. Is it still WIP, or has it been cut?

Still WIP
I have the older BEEMOD 1.05 installed. Just overwrite the previous installation or should I verify the Portal 2 cache to bring it back to normal then install BEEMOD .2.2 alpha?
Seeing how we got StyleChanger.exe, ever thought of finding a way to organize maps depending on what mod you are applying, if any? Like change the name of the "working" folder and "inactive" folder, or something to that effect in any fashion? That would make a useful feature.
You shouldn't need to use the stylechanger anymore. The only reason I think it's still there is because it does some stuff to install the custom vbsp and vrad.
Actually I find it very useful to on-the-fly apply themes and mods. It could use even more features. DON'T DUMP IT! It's awesome and works, but does need some update to be even more useful!
What came with .2.2 alpha:
you don't need to revert your BEE1.05 back to install this
also the stylechanger is now built into the BEE2
Is it me or is the warm light not working? When I place it in the editor and rebuild it, it gives me a cool light instead.
I think this is a problem with the BEE2, but when I play several Clean-style maps I hear PotatOS saying "Oh, I like this guy!" for no reason as I leave the elevator.
That's in response to Cave's PTI dialogue, which you would've finished already.
Warm and cool lights are swapped in the underground styles.
Will the 2.3 over-write the 2.2 when I install it? Or will I have both 2.2 and 2.3?
It'll overwrite the files. There's also a item patch which only has the new things, just in case you need it.
Okay, I installed the BEE2 "2.3" and I don't see much difference with objects. The only thing I found was the "Art Therapy" giving that slightly destroyed style (pretty sure that wasn't there the last time).
It looks like a new light strip with 3 colors, but that won't stay in the palette. Everything else will export but not that.
I noticed blocks are 3 different shapes now.
The Positron Orb gives an error when trying to build the puzzle
I thought I would see more new items, but this patch you mentioned, will that give me more?
It adds the art therapy style and a portalable/non-portalable piston platform. Look under the "BEE 2" filter.
Hi.
Your mod is really interesting and amazing.I've seen videos and images with bee2 installed and working
but in my case it does not works as expected.
The problem is that items in panel does not appear so i cannot drag nothing into the palette, everything else works(i can extract premade palettes, save palette and styles are functional).
Any idea, suggestion to solve this issue?
Thanks for reading.

This sounds like an issue popping up more and more everywhere, we do not have a direct fix for it yet
Yeah... This version is completely unusable to Mac users because the only download is an unextractable .exe rather than the files themselves for manual installation. If anyone could provide an extracted version or better yet: a java-based installer, that would be wonderful! In the mean time, I'm going to go beat VALVe employees over the head for porting Source but not Hammer. Smack Smack*...
What Exactly is BEE2 ?
Will it allow me to apply styles (Wheatly, art tharapy etc?) to my maps with the click of a button?
If so, THANKYOU ^+^
Also, I don't know if this exsists, but is there an auto antline tool? Cause that is Painstakingly Meticulous to get working on rooms with a lot going on.
i Downloaded the automatic installer and when i went to the portal 2 editor it didnt do anything... could someone tell me what to do?
You need to run the stylechanger exe once to set up some things, then run the BEE2 program (SteamApps/common/portal 2/portal2_dlc2/BEE2/BEE2 Alpha v.2.exe). In it you can hange the items listed in the editor pallette, choose a style for the map then export it to actually change the game.
I haven't played Portal 2 in ages and so I don't know about all those Rexaura items. Is there any tutorial on what each item's purpose is and how they are supposed to be used? The same goes for "Shadow of Time" and all the other new things that came after Beemod 1.05.
There's a description if you rightclick on items in the BEE2 editor. For the rexaura things, they work the same as the ones in the original mod.
Hi, I am using BEE2 but when creating a template filter the items do not get anything, why?
http://gyazo.com/a63ad42e9688892e8b56c38f17c8ac7d
Some of the filters won't have anything to display for the style. Try a different one, I don't think there's ever anything in the "miscellaneous" filter.
When using one of the Old Aperture styles, the goo is sometimes missing, instead I get some flickering background based on what was on the screen before. Is any of familiar with the issue?
Interestingly, the leak also happens in an empty coop room using the '1970s quiet' or '1980s quiet' setting.
Seemed to happen in one of my old versions of Immediate Latency, which is why I switched from goop pits to a hard floor. It's a single player map with the 70's quiet theme if it helps.
While we're at it, broken stuff happens if you close the 70's theme chamber exit door on yourself. you get sorta inside the door model?? Probably the other themes too, haven't had the chance to test it out sadly.
I think the portal in those doors closes a bit early anyway?
Read on the workshop that the 80s themed "pre-test room" thing has a portalable ceiling and you can break stuff that way by reentering it.
It turned out that the leak was near one of the observation rooms. (no idea why, though) Moving it solved the leak, at least for the non-quiet theme. The quiet theme always leaks.

same problem here but i dont see anything regaurdless of what style i choose. :/
Change the Item Filter dropdown to something other than "Miscellaneous", that category has nothing inside it.
I did notice that the Old Aperture doors are missing the logic to hold the door open if you have blocked it, that's why you can get stuck. I'll have to fix that at some point. I think I've put a noportal_volume on that 80s entry room to stop you from doing exactly that in my dev copy.
