FollowTheLeader - Energy Balls open doors Simple map I made on and off over 2 months. I introduced a simple mechanic, energy balls open doors and I have a couple puzzles using that mechanic. I would put the difficulty somewhere in the middle of Portal ( so medium? ) - Beditheory Level Designer The Guildhall at SMU

a map with no portal gun. Interested? music by The HamsterAlliance custom models by Hen7 to install extract the folder to steamapps/USERNAME/portal/portal it will show up in bonus maps This map started out as an idea for a map where all the rooms can rotate, and that makes up the puzzles, but in portal the player's body gets in the way of a rotating room. So I made this level instead All puzzles are based off of rotation it is set in Agito labs, a dirtier, less flashy section of aperture science the level turns off the crosshairs at the beginning, but turns it back on at the end of the level. if you exit early or want it on type this in console: cl_drawhud 1 edit: requires HL2, the portal map pack based off of the flash version, and maybe EP1 and EP2

An intermediate portal map made for my session project in school ( Level designer in video game . Be gentle its my first map in portal you can find the video walkthrough here if you want: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZyFs4zqN1A Ps : if you have problems with reflection just type buildcubemaps in the dev console Ps2 : here you go corrected the little trick that helped skip the first part : ) Ps3 : again corrected the other trick ( sorry if its just quick fix but i dont have the time with all the work i have to do for the end of the session )

A PSD image file to assist in creating level signs This PSD file contains all the basic elements used in the large level signs at the start of each portal level. Each element is on it's own layer to allow the elements to be hidden or made transparent so that the "lighting up" animations for these sign can be quickly and easily created. Please see the readme file for more information. v1.0 - initial release v1.1 - changed to use the actual large number font use in portal - added a tutorial on creating the signs in photoshop

Map Name - Tube Breakout Difficulty - Intermediate Map Creator - wyvern14 (contact me at [email protected]) This custom Portal map was created with strict parameters: - have a consistent difficulty level - have player guidance (sound, visuals, usage of lighting that gives hints) - have the same sounds and mechanics as Portal - have the Portal "feel" without using anything that would seem gimicky, out of context. All in all, it had to feel like a Portal DLC and like it belonged in the game. - nothing custom-made or imported that wasn't made by Valve This was created as a school homework and isn't perfect, but I feel it now needs public guidance to go to the next level and make it as a solid portfolio piece.

LoveGLaDOS (v1.1) LoveGLaDOS (v1.1) follows the Portal campaign levels' visual style and gameplay relatively closely. It is about as difficult as the Advanced Maps. It has some minor fixes and lighting/detail improvements over v1.0, which was released Jan. 20, 2008.
